Re: 1981 Chevrolet C50 Pick-up Conversion

Howdy Folks,

Been a while since I have posted here, but I thought I'd check in and give you an update....

Still got the Yellow Truck and wind it out here and there.

I started this one about March and am hoping to have it ready to pull our toy hauler for the spring.

Dude, you don't mess around. I am also partial to the OBS trucks so I like seeing this. Can you keep us posted? Or is it over on the 88-99 part of the forum?

Re: 1981 Chevrolet C50 Pick-up Conversion

Heavy trailer with minimal load. My absence from truck building has been due to a shift to kart racing.

I literally put the wagon before the horse. Too much trailer for my half ton truck. I was looking through online classifieds one night and saw this. Not being against a challenge I bought it three provinces away sight unseen.

Here I am today. I've got till April to have it ready for the start of the 2019 race season. Feeling confident I can pull it off.
