Post Lookin' to buy a truck...

Hello All--
I'm looking for a truck to use out on my property -- not a collector's item, mind you, just a dependable work truck. Ideally it would be:

Chevy or GMC
4wd, 3/4 ton, Long Bed, step side, 4 speed trans, pwr brakes, pwr steering, 350 V8, good working condition.

Something mostly original, less $4000, and within 1 days drive from Dallas, TX. I am flexible on all these things so if you've got something close let me know.

-- Thanks

Check out traderonline.com. For 4000 you should be able to find something real nice.

Yeah I just looked my self. Damn. I'll keep an eye out. There is one by my house just like mine that this old lady is getting ready to sale. I was going to buy it a while back but she wanted to wait untill spring was over before she sold it. She said she was still using it. BUT it's not 3/4 ton or 4X4. It's a 67/68 1/2 LWB.

I've got a 72 3/4 ton longhorn, bb 402, 400 trans, power steering and brakes. 82000 original miles. It has a steel bed. New ball joints and springs. Runs perfect. I live in Alabama 30 miles north of Tuscaloosa. If interested call or e-mail. mrtrinity2@pepperlink.net., or 205 932 8035
