Re: Rear Seat Bolt Size???

My memory thinks it is 7/16-20 fine thread for the front and 1/2" course thread in the rear. Maybe someone else can confirm it.

Sorry to dig up an old thread, but is the rear held down with regular bolts? I realized one corner was loose on mine and found a previous owner had welded a larger bolt (going into the floor) to a smaller bolt thread (no head) which extends upward and through the seat mount...basically creating a stud so there's just a nut needed on top of the mount. So one of those welds broke, and I'm curious if OE was something similar or really was just a normal bolt from the top, through the mount, and into the floor?

Bolt down through from the top. Nothing complicated like you described.
