Problems with trying to use picture links like google drive and PB

I have noticed a lot of failed links to photos in threads, usually failed links to Photobucket or Google Drive services.

The answer is really simple,,,download your pic to your local computer, they are after all, your pics.

Then load the pic from your local computer...

Use the Attach Files / Manage Attachments...

If the pic is too large to load, on a Microsoft Windows computer, select the image on your computer, right click, choose Open With ...Paint, within Paint, choose Resize, type in 30 % and save the image again.

Re: Problems with trying to use picture links like google drive and PB

Yep, yep and yep. Coming up all day. And thanks for the thread, because it appears we may end up with a bunch of semi-useless posts.

While I hear a lot about problems with Photobucket, I've been using Facebook, and recently noticed a lot of my pics. are gone. Link error reads "URL signature expired", those bastards . Tech. is a real *&^(%*% sometimes. One minute it works, the next they get greedy.

Turns out that was the hard way anyhow. I just discovered paying members can upload using the file attachment. Better late than never. You certain non-paying members can do as you describe?
