fuel tank air locking on panel

While tryin to fill up today I had tank airlock. It would actually spit fuel out past nozzles.I mean spit foot or so.I would hate it if wife did it and with cost of fuel not crazy about truck doing it.

Vent liune seems clear. Wondering it any other had this issue.Oh yea its 69 Panel truck. That might help.LOL

My '67 panel did that until I put a filler neck in it with a vent line. The previous owner had removed the vent line that went to the top of the filler neck. I wonder if the rubber vent hose has a kink in it or is plugged somehow.
