I hope to get started building a Crew-Cab from my 67 1-ton (157' wheel-base) sometime this year. I have do something with that extra room.
I like the way you are working the roof in.
I also like all the pictures you have taken.
Your B-pillars look good.
Will you put a headliner in or will it be a steel roof?

Nice work Trevor. I wonder if a guy with a custom step die on a bead roller could make a panel for the inner head liner so all the cab rooves wouldn't have to be put together?

Problem is that it needs to have just a slight crown in it like the truck headliners. I need it to have just a slight crown as well for strength. I am sure it is possible several ways, I am not out much but Time and a couple old roofs.

Removed my international gas door. I think I like the blazer neck better for the look.

I'm leaning on doing the same thing at the back of my Longhorn bed too. If I put a fuel fill door in front of the marker lamp, it would be too far forward due to an emblem. So I'm considering doing the same and trying to get rid of the fuel fill door up front.

Also picked up a missing link. I didn't like having to remove and alter my bed supports. It also left no room for my gas tank fill tube besides through the frame. I was lucky to find a clean Longhorn frame to section into mine.

I suppose you could. There is a spot on the longhorn frame the lines up with the 157" frame height. That's where I will splice.

I didn't like having to remove and alter my bed supports. It also left no room for my gas tank fill tube besides through the frame. I was lucky to find a clean Longhorn frame to section into mine. Ive wondered if a 133" rail would slide inside a 157" rail at some point?
