The story of two Q-jets
I am building a 1964 G10 Panel Van for my son, and I to go fishing in. It is getting a basic 350/700R4 combo for mile munching.
In my collection I have 2 74 quadrajets, and 1 Edelbrock 1805 version with electric choke. The 2 74's the manifold spring version. Also the Edelbrock has slightly smaller primaries too. Either will be built by a local professional. So which would you choose? |

Re: The story of two Q-jets
i wouldn't pick the eddy. I would rebuild whatever carb was the most original. by "manifold spring" I assume you mean divorced choke?
I would probably send my qjet to Lars for a rebuild. |

Re: The story of two Q-jets
I would update the Quadrajet with an electric choke.
