Want to say thanks to members

My Dad and I finished restoring a 68 anniversary 396 long bed C10 around 12 years ago. His user name was woodchip and he posted pics during the approx 4 year restoration. He talked a lot about the help he received from members on this site. He passed away in December 2017 at 87 years old. I am an only child and the truck now belongs to me. I have always been a Camaro guy but I love that truck. He bought in 1969, sold it in 78 and finally got it back 2002. Today was the first time I have logged on since he passed away and I read all of his post and remembered how much help he received on this site. I felt the need to say thanks. The old gal is still living the good life, has approx 1,400 miles since restore and resides in a climate controlled heated/air garage. His grand kids and I love a good sunny day ride and I get to tell them all about the fishing trips and races we went to in that truck. Thanks again

Thanks for sharing. That’s really neat. You may never know how much those memories mean to kids and grandkids.

Re: Want to say thanks to members

Thanks for posting. I have wanted a 68 Golden section, separate from other 67-68 stuff. Not enough demand. I will look for that build. My 68 Golden needs everything. I have owned mine since 1980.
My Dad is 88 years old, and in great health. I Thank the Good Lord, every day for that!!!
