HELP!!! I need a paint that looks black on direction and then dark brown another!!!
Hey guys I was wanting to paint my truck a dark chocolate brown color. Almost black.
I've seen paint jobs to where when you look at the paint one way it looks black. Then when you go to the side you can see some really cool 'ghost' skulls in it. I would like my truck to look black and when you step to the side it looks like a dark chocolate. Thanks guys! |

i recently painted my truck a metallic black and from some angles it looks black but other angles it looks brown, i loved the way it came out for my first job at painting, and all in all i have less than $200 into it between the paint primer and everything all the lil odd and ends needed.

I've also seen a satin pearl black that looks brown at angles. I saw a paintjob that looked black. Then when u step to the side there were all these wicked purple metal flake skulls. I want mine to be black with just a hidden brown under it. I don't know how they do it.

my 02 silverado was like that. it was black but in some angles it looked like a deep brown. the guy who polished it said it was a rootbeer color. i also had ghost flames on the hood and doors.

Check out House of Colors Kandy. Put a black metallic or dark gray metallic base down and then the rootbeer candy concentrate mixed in the clear over that. You'll get the look you're going for. Most paint stores that handle custom paints will have a chart you can look at.
