What's up with this ?

last week I bought a 2001 Silverado short bed , with 4.3 and 4l60 . Today I crawl underneath and spot this . That can't be factory right ?

Different oil pan or tranny perhaps than what it left the factory with?

The transmission has been changed, A 01 4.3L 4L60E would have the lower bolt hole.
