Just about any HiPo coil will work, I run MSD with a Pertronics trigger. Just beware you have good clean power going to the Unilite. A voltage spike could burn out the light emitter.

I have a mallory promaster ignition coil that is a little smaller than a motorcycle battery. If you are interested in it, I would take $20 plus actual shipping.

I bought it new in 95 or 96. Ran it for a couple of years on a mustang, then put it on the shelf. I guess it's probably 7 or 8 years old.
