X2. Doesn't matter the location, thieves are everywhere.

Yeah- I'd be in line for a big block super AC shorty too. Man had good taste, that little blue Nova is good stuff too. Probably an L-79 from the sounds of the guy!

That is a clean looking truck! I hope she knows it's value and someone doesn't take advantage of her when she is ready to sell. Kind of surprised one of her kids didn't want it

Re: Found an incredible survivor truck this weekend

I am would guess shes pretty sure of some of the value of the truck, and probably the Chevy II as well. That is a really nice example I do hope she doesn't get beat by a crook. Jim

I agree, that was probably my favorite part of meeting her and talking about it. She would light up every time she talked about it as if he was standing right next to her.

That's a good point. She had it out for a few weeks to clean the barn out that it lives in, she said it'll be back inside soon.

Wouldn't surprise me if the original steering wheel was somewhere there on the property. Did you ask her about that one?
You know I didn't ask her about the wheel, it crossed my mind but I wouldn't be surprised if it was hanging up on the wall somewhere.

I'm pretty sure she does. From what I gathered the truck to her is priceless. She said her grandson is about to graduate college and wants to work on it and keep it in the family. There's no telling what that means tho, I doubt he will keep it as original as she has. But I guess as long as its keeping his grandpas memories alive then it's good

She said her son wants to be buried in the nova, that was a pretty sweet car for sure. It had a repaint but it was a 2 door big block car. The guy definitely had good taste.

That's a good point. Another thing I noticed is when they repainted it they added the white in between the moulding. The sticker says white/dark olive which I'm pretty sure would've been a white roof with everything else green
