hey, that looks like the photo chops we did in my crew cab post!

there is something not right there at the back of the cab. the bed looks level, but the cab doesn't. it may just be poor fabrication of the rear cab mounts

The truck has a lot of potential if the right guy got his hands on it though.
As it is sitting on a later dualie chassis I would say that the body and bed just aren't aligned as well as they should be. It looks like both should come up about an inch or so where they meet.

I don't know, but I'll bet it was a lot of work. suicide doors on a crewcab dually, pretty impressive.

Boy howdy I thought that one was lost in the back dredges of the archives never to be seen again.

Power, I think he probably used a suicide door kit but he could have used part of the front post moved to the other side to runs stock hinges. Having swapped posts corner to corner on mine and using stock hinges to do suicide doors I'd (and have) spring for the suicide door hinge kit on it rather than use the stock hinges.

That was a pretty cool truck that seems to have left the face of the earth after it was on Ebay.

The suicide doors are not that hard to hinge. I used the original hinges on mine and just fabed up pockets in the pillar.

Really, no one here knows how to shim pickup body components for alignment? That slight misalignment is easy to adjust.

Evidently the guy who built that truck didn't and that is the one detracting thing about that truck. the bent in the middle look. Nearly as bad as the droopy poopy drawers bed leaning down in the back look on AD trucks on S-10 frames to make them look lower in the back.

It does the heavy work and hauls the projects around.
