Sadly enough isn't that how most companies are now days?

Yes it is because they're afraid if they tell you a long wait time you'll go somewhere else. I'd rather wait for a business that has good customer service than use another that doesn't. This doesn't apply to just car parts either.

Well I think if they're just upfront and honest with you from the beginning that can benefit a company too, I mean yeah waiting isn't fun but I can much rather appreciate you telling me hey it might be a month before you get your parts.

I did send them an email yesterday evening telling them that I was not happy that it was going to take at least 5 weeks to get my parts when I could have ordered them someplace else. They responded telling me that it was taking so long because a certain part I needed was on backorder. They did say that they wanted me to be satisfied even if that includes giving me a 100% refund. I emailed them asking that they upgrade the control arms without the new pin to the control arms with the pins being how that is what I am waiting on. I didn't get a response back, they just sent me my payment back. lol......Looks like I am going to hit up Summit now

You're not going to repaint the whole thing right? Just some patch panels and interior right?

I got outside this weekend and noticed some brake fluid around the tire. Come to find out it has been leaking for some time!

It was the wheel cylinder leaking. It took me about 10$ and a couple hours and I was good to go.

Checked the status this morning. Showed that it shipped Friday and should be here within 3 - 5 business days. I'm thinking I should have everything by Thursday.

Re: Project Platinum C10

I have been following your thread, truck should turn out great. Very interesting concept! Your problem sounds familiar, I bought my DJM lowering spindles on Ebay of all places and they came in with free shipping in less than 5 days. My wife ordered an expensive steering wheel a few weeks ago for me for fathers day, and I have yet to see it, was supposed to be here in 5-7 days, it was straight from the manufacture. I just ordered a full front suspension kit this weekend and it shipped today, I again ordered from Ebay and got free shipping. Any way that's my rant, I don't often buy any thing from Ebay but I have had a great experience so far with the suspension parts.

I am from Arkansas, I hope its OK to post on your TX thread, lol

Re: Project Platinum C10

First off, welcome to the thread! I'll let you slide being from Arkansas as that's where my wife and I spent our honeymoon. lol....yeah I have ordered several things from Ebay and have always had great success. I ordered some mirrors for my truck and one came in broken. Sent an email and had another in a few days.
