55 2nd series on 91 suburban axles

I have a 55 2nd series one ton on 91suburban running gear. Original 55 9' bed frame. I knew the running gear was wider on the 91 but figured I could bite the bullet and buy custom off-set wheels to move them back in. This has proven to be a bigger issue than I thought. This is an 8 lug 4x4 running gear and custom wheels are harder to come by. If I stick with 16's I cant move inboard too far without hitting rear drums. Original wheels were 18" split rims. I don't think these are very common. This is my first time through a build and some things I thought would be simple have been more time consuming. A learning experience indeed.

They are 3/4 ton 8-6.5 bolt pattern. I knew up front they were wider just not the problem finding special 8 bolt wheels. If it were half ton there are plenty of options.

That axle is about 5" too wide. Tough to make up that much.
