Took these out of my 57 ..... Was considering having them reupholstered.

I think they are a late 60's Camaro or maybe a mustang bucket seats but not sure

Re: What seats are these.

Not an expert, but they look like early Mustang seats.

Re: What seats are these.

A couple of things. Most low back seats were gone by 69. If they were low back they had to have the extra headrest. That may help you a little. I have owned a bunch of mustangs and for some reason these don't hit me as mustang seats. Seem more like falcon or fairlane. (62-65?) I had a 63 falcon sprint with buckets and 4 speed and they remind me of those. Do you have a side photo so we could see the hinges ?

Re: What seats are these.

If they fit the truck the way you think they should and fit your butt the way you think they should it doesn't matter what they came out of when you go to the upholstery shop to have them recovered No decent upholstery shop I know of orders a "Kit" to do seats like that unless the customer wants an exact reproduction cover that is absolutely correct for the car they came out of. For your truck they are going to ask how you want them done, what material you want and what color of material you want and then pull the cover off and use it as a pattern to sew the new covers. Meaning you get to have it redone exactly as you want it.

Nice buckets for an older truck or older rig by the way as they are very appropriate for most older rigs.

Re: What seats are these.

Best thing about them outside of the fact that the have a nice squared off lean back is that they are in fairly decent shape and that is a big plus when you go to the upholstery shop where guys often drag ragged seats in to have them fix.

Re: What seats are these.

Thanks guys

The wife likes them so they may stay.
I like them in that they feel ok and came with truck when I bought though obviously not original.

But I might try and sell them .... If I get a decent price do something different. If not. ..get them reupholstered and back in

Something like that
