Chevy grill to GMC

What parts are required to change a 97 Chevy Tahoe grill to a GMC grill?

Re: Chevy grill to GMC

If you're staying with the same late style ('94-'98), then all you'll need is the grille shell itself and the sidemarker lenses.

What lower grille piece? If you're talking about the filler between the bumper and grille, it's the same.

Which grille, upgrade or standard? Same to same...in same design group? (as mentioned above)

Re: Chevy grill to GMC

I could be thinking the older grills. Got to thinking, I swapped GMC to Chevy in my crew and got the lower piece, after install realized they were the same. Carry on lol

Re: Chevy grill to GMC

I am wanting to switch to the same year or close to it GMC grill. I am used to the 67-72 trucks where you have to switch radiator support, grill etc. The grill on my 97 Tahoe is a little rough so it needs to be changed and if its easy to switch to the GMC style I would like to do it.

Stick with a '94-'98 GMC grille and my original reply still stands. Grille shell and sidemarkers. That's all you need. It's a straightforward, direct swap.
