engine not level
I have a Q-jet carb and was wondering what kinds of problems I might run into if my engine is not level?

Re: engine not level
3 to 5 degrees down in the rear is normal.

Re: engine not level
Okay thanks. I had not tried measuring it but I know that I have not taken it into consideration after it has been lowered and new transmission and transmission cross member. Do you know if I would have any problems if it was off?

Re: engine not level
Shouldn't bother the carb. They are designed to work going up and down hills far steeper then 5*, plus sideways on hills.
Might mess up the drive line if the angles aren't correct. |

Re: engine not level
If you will put a level on the carb mounting flange on the intake you will see oem and some aftermarkets have a built in angle to compensate or this . Not sure if yours does but still should be ok .
