Fuse Block

I have the original fuse block, but want to add a cig lighter, glove box light....should I update the entire fuse block? When it says that it is a 13 circuit block, does that mean it had 13 different connection?

Re: Fuse Block

A cig lighter and glove box light were factory available options. So there is a provision for them to plug directly into the original fuse box. Look for the terminal labeled "CIG" that's between the "AIR COND / HEAT" and "TRAFFIC HAZ" fuses.

That terminal is un-fused but it is protected by a fusible link in the feed wire (fusible link is located in the engine compartment). I don't think the factory cig lighter had a separate inline fuse but adding one would be a good idea.

Re: Fuse Block

Thank you. I did locate the connections but there is something else plugged into the CIG and I need to locate where the wire leads to. Thanks again.
