72 short stepside question

Does anyone here have a pic. showing the area of the running board that meets the leading edge of the rear fender on a original 72 chevy short wheelbase C-10 ? The repro. running boards are long in this area, and extent past the rear fender opening as well as being "open" and not rounded off. I would like my truck to look original in this area & have seen pictures of trucks that have these "ends" rounded off to follow the shape of the wheel opening. Any pics would be a help...Thanks in advance guys !

Let me retract that.....under the fender & then meet at the wheel opening.

Thank you Zeroman for posting, but I am looking for pics taken from the outside of the truck of the "tail" for lack of better terms, of the step running board end. Is it rounded off or left open on GM stock running boards ?
Your pics are very helpfull on placement of the supports.. THANK YOU !

Re: 72 short stepside question

How's this one?

It is rounded off to a certain extent.

The curvature follows the fender.
