going to buy a set of American Racing Torque Thrust II's, and going to run 275/60/R15 BFG Comp T/A's, which rim width would look better??? 15x8 or 15x10??? will a 15x10 clear on the front with that big of tire???

I used the same tire on a 69 camaro (4.30 gears in a narrowed nine inch) with 15x8's and got the impression that 15X10's would have been too wide. Its got 305/50 Euro TA's on it now with 15X10 welds and theyre sized pretty good for the tire.

I have 15 X 9 1/2 on the GMC...275/60's fit on there perfect. nice flat foot print. A good tire dealer should be able to tell you the facts.

I have 275/60/15s on 8" ralleys,& they print ok. I think they could be on a little wider wheel(8 1/2-9" should be optimum, from the charts I have seen),but I also feel that 10" is a little wide for that size tire......69

I've always been partial to the 15x15s on my 69.

I'm running 15x8 (205/60R15)on the front and 15x10 (295/50R15) on the rear.

I just liked the look. doesnt make the tires last long not being able to rotate.. but hey, they have lasted me 4 years already.

rotate...bbah! I find that just gives me 4 bald tires instead of two!

I have 15x10's with that tire on the back and they fit fine. Me personally would not run 10's all the way around on a 2-wheel drive. If I was going the same size all the way around it would be 8's.
