Fuel pump pressure

I have a aeromotive drag pump setup and the pump has a bypass , I was told to set it at 30 psi but it caused the front regulator problems so i dropped it to 20 and it seems to be better.
Do any of you guys have this type of setup and what psi do you run from the pump ?

Front reg is at 8 psi .

thanks

Re: Fuel pump pressure

I have been running a BG400 for nine years . I have ran them at 30 and as low as 22 . BG recomends 24 I believe for my pump . I'm sure with the volume of your pump you should be fine .

Re: Fuel pump pressure

Thank you sir.

I had to rebuild the carb regulator because of a bad O ring and had a heck of a time getting the right part. Guess Aeromotive doesnt have many problems with their stuff.
Anyway thanks for the info.

Keith
