Ooh very Nice indeed!
Just out of interest, what drop did you do to get the burb to sit like that?
What size are the wheels?
Just working out solutions for my burb
Cheers

Re: My 67 Suburban - New Photos

That is a beautiful vehicle! I am wanting to buy a '67-'72 Suburban to restore and make a daily driver, but till I find the right one, I'm doing research and planning. Can I ask about the interior? What is the rear a/c from and how hard was it to install? What are the seats out of?

Thanks.

Very, very nice. I'll keep an eye out for you on the road, I'm down in your area quite often. Did you put the folding second seat in or was that a previous owner?

I tried to keep the interior in line with the basic theme of the truck, just updated it with what's currently available, the rear air is part of a front and rear air system that was a dealer installed option on I believe, 1971-72 models, that's the system I installed, it is not much different than installing a standard heater system, just a few more hoses and things. The front seat is out of a 1996-98 chev silverado 1 ton four door, "I used the rear seat", the reat seat is from a 1973 burb.

Re: My 67 Suburban - New Photos

I'm curious as to how the brackets that hold the upper seats in place are attached to your Burb's inner side walls. My Dad's '74 Burb has steel inner walls where my '72 has cardboard panels, so I was never sure how I would convert to a folding 2nd seat.

Also, what did you use for the headliner?

You have to fashion and mount a flat bracket behind the side panel, like the one on the 1973 Burb, carefully align the latch and drill and tap the attachment points. The headliner is standard headliner board from your local upholstrey store and covered with late model headliner fabric

Re: My 67 Suburban - New Photos

I always liked this burb. Just thought I'd bring this thread back from the dead as some on here have expressed interest in a square body 2nd seat install.
