Phone app for tracking rebuild recommendations?

There are allot of these in the app store. I would like to keep track of what I do and buy, including costs. Maybe even something for planning jobs.

What are you using?

Thanks

I have always had a folder in the file cabinet for each vehicle to keep receipts in

Excel for lists and one for costs. Word for pictures and explanation. Paint to put arrows and words on pictures. And files to place them in. Hard copies of receipts go in the physical file cabinet at home.

I wouldn't think any of the new kids could even conceive what a project would need to make an app. Maybe you can build one and make a buck. They say thats the way now days. I bid you good luck and let us know so that we might use it also. Of course with my flip phone . . .

Re: Phone app for tracking rebuild recommendations?

I have read how it is virtually impossible for a non-computer company person to build and market their own app. Anyway.....

There is a new app I heard about for just this. You get a box and put all your receipts in it. Later on you arrange these chronologically and staple into a notebook. You get a nicely bound ledger book from Staples and list the item, date, and price, again, chronologically.

This book never needs recharging, survives a drop from any altitude, and even handles being dropped into water. Fascinating what they've come up with!

Copies are easily run off in case of insurance company claims....probably easier than handing over one's phone.

Re: Phone app for tracking rebuild recommendations?

I hide receipts and once the item is out of warranty I toss it. It keeps the wife happy. Price tags never make it home
