73-87 bench designs - how many are there?

I think I'm correct in saying that the adjustment lever for the 73-80 faces the drivers door. The 81 up faces the front.

That's only part of it. The seat tracks are as follows:
73-76
77-80
81-87
And the tracks must match with the frame. They are not interchangeable.

Anyone know what this bench came from? I picked it up off Craigslist recently. Guy said it was in his 62 Chevy Truck. Looks like it will bolt into my kid's 79 C10 without issue... hope that's the case.

Yep that is a 77-80. It will bolt right up to any 73-87. But the tracks are correct for the 77-80. Nice find!!

Great! I paid $80 for it, but had to drive almost 3 hours round trip to pick it up. Thanks for the confirmation.
