I was drooling over that Burb before I ever found this site! Still my favorite one. I've even used it to photoshop a 72 Tahoe. Very nice.

Re: calling all 2wd suburbans!!!

I`ve only had one and I can`t believe I never took a single picture.I sold it in a weak moment,I hope someone's happy with it:`71 CustomDeluxe/10,Med.Blue/Blue int,402/TH400,Rallyes/spinners,3/5 drop springs,a/c,cruise.It was too big according to my wife,so she rarely drove it.She wanted to sell it and her Samuri shuttle-craft to get one new replacement,the`90 K/5 we still have.A guy in Fredericksburg,VA bought it.

Here's mine. Still not finished, wife had a baby in late November, and since then, we've been packing, going to be moving tomorrow! Maybe after we get settled in, I can start assembly again.

If I didn't have a Blazer, this is what I would want. I've been considering a bagged burb rather than trying to find the elusive 2wd Blazer...

Re: calling all 2wd suburbans!!!

that's what I did bouncy. Finally, just gave up, but I do know where a 2wd blazer is that's about to be for sale. If you want to know PM me.

The only problem is it a ways away from you.

Re: calling all 2wd suburbans!!!

Thanks, it needs some work, but it's a great start. It is awful tough to find nearly 40 year old unrusty steel in this part of the country. This example is a transport from Cali a few years back by the previous owner.

Someday I will get serious about a redo and ditch the smurf paint.

I love the white below the lower trim. I don't get the blue liftgate though. Was that intentional (probably not your diong)? Looks like a clean truck! I've already read your explanation on the third door handle

Re: calling all 2wd suburbans!!!

I'm not crazy about the blue gate. I suppose it was done to match the rest of the door frames. When my boys and I redo this one in a few years the rear door handle will go back on. It really sucks the way it is.
