2002 chevy's have our hoods!!!
I saw some of the newer trucks the other day at the dealership...the salesman told me a bunch of people that have a 98 or newer chevy truck want to exchange their existing hoods for the newer style...he said everything fits the same....as a result of this....he also said that GM is gonna milk this and make it a option for next year and bring back the other style....so if you want the new style hood....it will cost you extra as an option.

Tall hood is on 2500HD and 3500 trucks only, '01 and '02. 1/2 tons and regular 2500s get the normal hood.
