59 3100 turn signal wire color?

In garage now, need assistance cant use search function on my phone for some reason.

Bought new gauge pod for my 59 3100 from brothers. Installing now: right turn signal always worked and color of wire is dark blue.

Left turn signal never worked, now I know why, because there is no wire or socket/bulb.

Question: what color is the left turn indicator wire supposed to be?

Previous owner really butchered things up.

Also, one of the light sockets was attached to the key starter switch behind the dash even though no place for a light to be seen?
Please help.
Thanks

Re: 59 3100 turn signal wire color?

Never mind....i figured it out. The left hand wire is light blue. Previous owner completely eliminated the wire for some reason. Reinstalled new wire, took socket from old gauge assembly in barn and put in a new bulb. All is working fine now.

Still not sure why there is a bulb and socket attached to key starter behind dash? Maybe deluxe models had a curtesy light?

Re: 59 3100 turn signal wire color?

The light you are referring to illuminates the key hole slot for the ignition switch if I recall correctly. It has been a while since my truck was together.
