What rims/tires will fit a stock-like application?

My son and I just started working on a 1958 Chevy Fleetside that had been sitting in the Arizona desert for 40 years. It has some ridiculous 10" wide rims in the rear and 7" inch in the front. We are on a tight budget and we want to make the truck close to stock. Just to get it rolling I want to put the 7" rims in the back and get a couple steel rims for the front that would be close to stock.
1) What is the stock rim size for a 1958 3200(six bolt)? The spare appears to be around 15" x 7"
2) Is there a match from a later model car or truck that would fit?
3) What was the stock tire size? The spare tire says 8.45-15 and has a diameter of about 28 inches
Thanks in advance
Paul

Can't answer 1 & 3 but as far as other wheels that might fit. That same bolt pattern - 6 x 5.5" (6 x 139.7mm) - was used on the Toyota tundra from 2000 to 2006 so there are 15-16 inch wheels that will fit. Just get the proper lug nuts. I bought a set of 4 off CL with worn tires to use as a rollers for 40 bucks. The same pattern was used by Chevy for years. Make sure the center hole is large enough to fit your drums !!

70s C/K trucks ran both 15 and 16" wheels in 6 bolt pattern, 7" wide at the bead. Only negative is you cannot run stock 50's hub caps. It took a while but I found a set of 68-72 caps and beauty rings. Also, 67 passenger caps will fit some wheels. Here is photo of both.

You can look around for the stock 15" (or 16" but very rare) rims that have three hub cap clips. The 3 clip rims are 55.2 to 59 and have a 4.5" width. You might find some 6 clip rims, but they are 55.1 and older and are 4" wide.
Pictured is a 16" 3 clip. (not for sale)

Wheels from a mid '70s to '80s K1500 fit and generally don't look too bad. I'm running 16" rims from a horse trailer on my truck.

I ran the 80's rims with beauty rings and chrome acorn nuts when my truck was stock and had the 6 bolt pattern. I liked the look, I pieced together a set from 3 different wrecking yards, then sandblasted and painted them.

For stock appearing wheels Chevy 2wd trucks up to about 66-67 I think and 4wd for many years after that but check center hole size as already mentioned.

Here's a link to tons of info about your truck including original wheel and tire sizes https://gmheritagecenter.com/docs/gm...olet-Truck.pdf

15 x 7 with 6 on 5.5 bolt pattern are $64, if you buy through Summit Racing I think they will ship free

I bought one of these to run as a spare. Looks pretty close to stock. You could probably put clips on them and run hubcaps if you wanted.
