Re: 4X4 Action Pix

I spend all day last Sunday putting the Blazer to some hardcore abuse at the off-road park and yesterday I spit out my front driveline driving over a 1' snowbank in a fricken parking lot!

WOW !! Cool i am getting the fever to go tear up some mud LOL!! No luck here though. Busting snow drifts is almost as fun if it wasnt for the inch of ice we had before the snow.

Re: 4X4 Action Pix

So I see allen has joined the forum.. Good to see the ione boys showing up on here...

I pretty much want to use the word hate with you guys.. Because I hate you for having fun with your trucks.. I sold my "Got Mud" blazer and went into the muscle car side with my '64 olds and '72 chev. I sort of regret it when I see the local boys coming back out.. The offroad days seemed to die down for awhile around here..

Makes me want to have randy build me something again. I keep threatening him that I'll shut his website down if he doesn't hook a brother up...

Get a truck!!! We need more 4x4 friends who actually use thier trucks...like your pix suggest. I must admit, I'm sick of all these posers with thier big, "bad-ass" lifted trucks that do nothing but drive thru puddles and WATCH.

Re: 4X4 Action Pix

The is back. The creek is barely running but the rangers have the gates closed so the rest of the park was way crowded...lots of bikes & quads. My rig might not twist like a jeep but we sure put her to the test today.

Re: 4X4 Action Pix

Wow did we get stuck! The whole truck (front and back) was high centered in this hole, not to mention she was leaning against the ground on the driver side. We generated quite a crowd. After the winch wouldnt pull her out forward and a Cherokee couldnt pull her out backwards, we had this big suburban do some violent yanks to get her free...thanks guys! Of course after all that this Bronco with front locker went throught the same hole twice to show me up but he never did drop his tires in the same hole, just straddled it until he had battery trouble, typical Ferd just kiddin, good people all, good fun!

You sure do know how to have fun! Couldn't even imagine having somewhere like that close by to wheel - don't take it for granted!

Jack, yes I know how lucky I am to have this free park only 6 miles from my house. (and I only live 3 miles from downtown!) Its ironic how many people I hear *****in about the place. Its better than nuthin'. A whole lot better! Heres a better looking touched up pic from before.

Gun control, the theory that 110lb. women have the "right" to fistfight with 210lb. rapists.

The reason animal rights activists are more passionate about fur than leather is because it's safer to harrass rich women than bikers...

More fun. Thanks to Matt for taking some actual non-poser shots (blurry). This last is of shot of Matt's big tan Blazer after he lost a front driveline.

As some of you know I've been debating on getting a Dana 60 front from a buddy......well, I broke a front axle-joint and stub shaft on my Dana 44, so....decision made. I'll start a new thread as I start working on the 60.
