Oak Rirdge TN original city trucks

I came across these recently when I did some work for the city of Oak ridge.

They have 2 1958 Viking flatbeds that the city bought new in '58. One truck was restored by the city garage guys and the other is all original with the field service bed still intact.

I'll have to go down and check them out sometime. I work in Clinton which is just east of there a few miles.

Go meet Dave in the shop - he's a gear head and loves to talk everything from late 50's Impalas to rat rods.

Wow, that's too cool. What about the Mopar police car in the background?
