3rd gear

I have a 55 chev pickup 2nd series & was wandering if there is a way to fix the trany from jumping out of 3rd gear. Has all original running gear in it now. It shifts good but have this problem.

you may need to adjust the linkage--or you may have a bad synchro in 3rd cusing that problem
