Some fall pictures before winter arrives

Living in the North (Canada), your truck sits for 6 month. That's good if you have work to do on it and a winter hobby to keep entertained (snowmobiling), but it's a slow tick tock of time for the snow to melt and get your ride back on the road.

I moved into the country a couple months ago and had the opportunity to take some photos of some of the amazing fall colors coming out. These yellows only last for a week or so before the wind blows them off the trees.

My 27yr old cousin, Elliott, came over to store his El Camino for the winter, and the timing couldn't have been better with snow falling overnight!

Tires are 275/60/15 all around. ECE 4.5/6.5 drop. No c-notch.

Elliott showing up to park his car for the winter.

All tucked away. My brother's 68 C10 will be joining the crowd for the winter. I'm still wearing my TX tag while I take my time registering it here in Canada.

14 hours later! This morning.

Sure is pretty. I love the first snow of the season .... and the last!

Gives you plenty of time to get that POA valve sent off & adjusted.

So much awesome in these pics! Yo all 3 have some super nice trucks/car. I really like your barn/building, and that house is sweet too! I'm not too keen to see any white stuff on the ground yet though. Haha

And they are sealed in their sarcophagus for the next six months...

Edit to add: I have never had my garage that clear since the day I started moving in!

Re: Some fall pictures before winter arrives

Sweet truck you have there. I really like the wide tires front and rear. It's a look you don't see often enough imho, and I'll be doing it too.

As for the white stuff, it's really pretty-in pictures.

I love the red barn too. About 3000 sq ft, heated, cement floor. Sharing it with my Brother and Cousin who co-own the property with me. We're getting our poop in a group for tool box/cabinet space inside the barn so we each have our own territory.

We hope to keep the garage pretty clean. We put up 6 of those massive storage racks you see in the photo. 8'x4' each, shared among 3 people. That should help keep everything off the floor. The garage is the 'clean room', with the red barn being the shop. We're going to try to stuff 8 cars + 2 side by sides in the garage with winter. We'll see if they fit.

Thanks. I'm a fan of the 275 series tire all around too. Look meaner. I know 295's will fit on the rear (I've done it), so I'll be going wider out back next time. that's about the widest that'll fit on an 8" wide rim.

Beautiful truck and surroundings. Winter can be enjoyed with the right preparations and attitude. Not that I care to rush it. You are still in fall, it just starts earlier farther north. Plenty of fine weather ahead before the finger numbing cold.

Great pics. I dumped Michigan years ago, so I have no winters anymore. Winter is doable with a badass sled

Re: Some fall pictures before winter arrives

I dig your Super! If I were to have a 2WD instead of 4x4, I think I'd be going for the same look.

Nice photos, the colors are beautiful!

NICE TRUCKS, PRETTY PLACE !!..... like the 275's also
I'm a lifelong Floridian so the concept of storing my favorite toys for 6mos. a year is alien to me. From now thru April is prime-time for my Blazer down here. Here's a Florida Fall colors picture. They started up my street with the claw trucks picking up tree debris from Hurricane Irma today.
