Any pics of stock or restored V8 engines?

Sending 283 out to be rebuilt and plan to return it to stock like appearance. Anyone have pics of a stock V8 truck engine or a nice restored engine bay?

Stock 307 with a 63 Impala 327 intake and carburetor. I'd like to eventually add a dual snorkel breather, early 60's style. I also have a points type distributor that will get a Petronix conversion and replace the HEI.

I look for any excuse to post a picture of the "62 283 in my '53 5 window.
Other than the air cleaner and the rubber fuel line I've got it looking pretty factory with a generator, points distributor and black coil.

Re: Any pics of stock or restored V8 engines?

I know this is an old thread, but I wanted to resurrect it to show my near complete 283 I'm installing in my '59 3100. I'm pretty happy how it turned out

Re: Any pics of stock or restored V8 engines?

Neat pics. I especially like the Chevrolet orange exhaust manifolds in the factory photo. Folks seem to think everything was detailed to the last nut and bolt. Truth is color was applied and the parts were sent.
