1972 Blazer Roll Bar

Did some of the 1972 Blazers come factory with a roll bar? Any help would be great!

THANKS!

I don't believe so. All the GM brochures and option lists I've seen do not show/list a roll bar option.

I have heard many people say they have a factory roll bar and they all look the same. The rear suports usually go down to the top of the wheel well.

I would say the have to be factory. My dad and I have owned 5 4x4 Blazers between us over the years and 3 have had the same roll bar. (not too thick)

2wdblazer- That's what I thought too. They were made from somethink like 1.5" tubing.

By the way, I noticed on Blazerworld.net that there is a Blazer for sale in Florida. I thought of you because I know you were looking for so long without a single 4wd for sale down that way. I think you got a better deal from the description of this one:
1970 k5 blazer for sale:
307 V8, 67,000 miles on engine. Tranny rebuilt less than 1,000 miles ago. Axle has been swapped from a D44 to corp.10 bolt in order to have power disc brakes. I will include the old D44 in sale. Corbeau seats, 4" skyjacker lift, 33" BFG M/T's, many more goodies. The all important rocker panels and cab supports have been repaired!!!! I am asking 5,000. If interested feel free to email me with any questions at vegaries@cox.net

Pics will be scanned tonight. Can I e-mail them to someone? I have a hell of a time resizing and posting around here.
