Rochester model B tuning

Anyone have any literature on how to tune a rochester B carb? From what I've found is to set the idle screw to 600 to 700 rpm, adjust mixture screw to highest vacuum, then turn it back in until there is a 20 to 30 rpm drop, then turn it back out 1/4 of a turn. Is this correct?

Idle should be between 450 and 500. at 6-700 your almost off the idle circuit into the transition circuit. I run the idle screw in till it stops. back out 1-1/2 turns and set to the highest vacuum idle at 450- to 500 at the correct timing
