What significance does the last 2 numbers have? I know that even numberd carbs were automatic and odd numbers were manual but not sure of the significance of the sequence. (ie, 04, 06, 08, 10, 12...etc)

The second to the last number if it is 0, 1, or 2 that means it was for a Chevrolet. The two letters are production code. The next set of four numbers are the production day and year. Mine for example is 3281 which means it was built on the 328nd day of the year 1971.

Got it. I am familiar with the date codes I just wasn't sure about the specific coding for ones used on a blazer.
