87 R10 Ls Swap (What old wires can I get rid of)

Been searching all over and cant find a good answer. Swapping an 87 r10 with a lq4 6.0 and 4l80e. Using PSI harness. Ready to start wiring but want to know what old wires I can get rid of first. Can anyone help me?

My thread is FIXRUPR build.

Really the only thing you wont use is the distributor wiring...but I used the switch on hot wire going to distributor for my switch on hot wire for the psi harness...the starter wires I kept and used for the LS starter...wiring going to alt will change to psi harness..but you'll still need the power output wire...you can keep your oil and temp wiring if you have elec gauges...but youll need to move your gauge sender to the pass side head...the psi harness will use the driver side head sender...

Behind the pass side head there is a bundle of wires going thru the fire wall . They were for the computer for the 87 . You can remove all wires in the engine compartment and under the dash associated with this . None of these will be necessary any more . This will clean things up a bit as well . If you plan on putting your pcm in the cab you can use this large hole to run the wires thru as well .

On the driver's side firewall there is a large wiring connector that the TBI harness goes to. When I did mine, I took the time to learn what each wire does and then just cut out the TBI harness. Most of those wires are 12v switched (provides power to the various TBI sensors). Some go to the gauges.

When you did this do you remember about how many wires in that bulkhead you got rid of or how many you kept ? I used this
