67_68 lower trim dilemma

So I have a 67 short stepper converted to a 67 GMC. Now...did these trucks ever have the lower trim package as a short stepside bed?
If not. Does any have pics of their 67-68 stepside with trim so I can see how it'll look?

Re: 67_68 lower trim dilemma

I’ve only seen them with trim on the cab/clip until a member here added it to his step bed

Re: 67_68 lower trim dilemma

I'm just wondering how it will look on my Fender cab and doors but without putting it on the stepside bed

Re: 67_68 lower trim dilemma

There is a member here who did the custom trim on a step side bed. Came out really nice, factory like. Sorry I don't have a link, maybe he'll see your post

Re: 67_68 lower trim dilemma

I may have saved a pic of one. Not mine though.
This GMC only has the trim on the cab and front. I don't find a pic of one with stepside bed trim but I believe the bed trim is available from the aftermarket.
Back in the 90s there was a local chevy truck parts guy who had a red 68 stepside with the complete set of moldings on his. Not being interested in side trim, I never asked him where he found his. IMO the bed needs the trim too if you have it on the other half of the truck.

I just went through all my saved pics and not one step side has the trim on it. It's not listed in LMC catalog either.

Re: 67_68 lower trim dilemma

Great thank you for the pic. You're right . It looks like half the trim is missing..... Oh well

Re: 67_68 lower trim dilemma

Chevyland or Special K might just have a pic or two of side trim on step sides.
