Running boards

does anyone know where to find those fiberglass running boards that the conversion companies used?

I have a set. I think you are too far away to pick them up. I would give them to ya.

Re: Running boards

They look great I think. Even my G/F says the same thing. Leave them the color they are as it's a nice contrast to the rest of the vehicle without looking gaudy. Color matching them would subdue their lines and accents too much IMO.

One more question unrelated.... Where did you get the L.E.D. front turn signals?

Re: Running boards

I see they made it to alabama ok. Any weird looks strapped to the top of your FJ ??? Anyway, my 2 cents I don't like them on there. I think they will get torn off eventually and tear up your body aswell. It was very nice to meet you though. Sorry I had to run. I was on time to my daughters girl scout meeting and got to hang out with the x wife too. Lots of fun.

Re: Running boards

LOL yea every time we stopped we got asked what the heck they where...LOL every car that went by was looking at them up there... yea i am worried i would drag them off and mess up the paint on the body to. I think I am going to paint them and when i get a lot of rock chips and stuff on the truck, maybe put them on then... I also am lowering the front about 4 more inches so they would not work then for sure... Thanks again Tony...

Re: Running boards

I can't believe that I am saying this. but they don't look too bad. Despite that comment, I don't think you should put them on. As low as your Burb is, I think they will get destroyed rather quickly.
