Vintage air brackets

I am leaning towards using these brackets and Sandan 508 compressor.

This would be a replacement for the stock compressor. I am currently running the hooker competition headers. Any pictures with header fit would be awesome.
Thanks
Rick

Re: Vintage air brackets

Looks like same unit that came with my VA kit. I cleaned and painted mine before I out them on as they were still raw metal. Fit was very good. I don't know what brand headers I have as they have been on the truck since before 1978when my friend who willed it to me first got it. Only picture I have currently. I will say I can access the plugs easier than the factory AC compressor configuration.

Re: Vintage air brackets

I used that bracket set up on my 327 with same comp. and I run Hedman headers. They work great and have had no issues sorry no pics,

Re: Vintage air brackets

Thanks for the input that is great. My biggest concern is my front tube comes back over the header bolts. Was afraid the bracket would hit this tube. I do like how everything is opened up and can get to everything for Maintenace.

Re: Vintage air brackets

The brackets that came with my SBC kit looked a little different than that. There are two long spacers between the rear bracket and the header, which gives ample room for the header pipes or an exhaust manifold.
