Trans truck to trailblazer
Hi haven't been in in a long time with work and home I just lost interest. Can y'all tell me if a trans from A 97 1500 2wd 350 work in a 03 trailblazer with the 4200 thanks for your help I found. a truck that was wrecked and I need motor for my Tahoe and trans for trailblazer so if it will work it will make it worth it to buy wrecked truck thanks

as far as I know the bell housing is different. 97 is a part of the trans and the 03 has a removable bell. so you can't use the old trans on the newer truck bout you could go the other way with just swapping the bell as far as I have been told.

be glad you have an 03 trailblazer my wifes envoy is an 02 and the 02 is a one year trans only. had a tough time finding a 2wd trans in my area. had to drive two hours one way for one. just did that today. you can use an 03 to 06 from what I have been told. good luck with the trailblazer.
