Need help with Vintage slots

I have a set of old slots I picked up a while ago and I am trying 6o identify them and see what lug nut to buy. They are pretty oxidized and I don't see any markings to indicate what brand they are. Does anyone know what brand they are and which lug nuts to buy? They are 15 x 7, 5x5 bolt pattern.

Any help would be appreciated.

There should be some info cast on the inboard side of the wheel. You need mag style lug nuts that fit your studs.

I have a set of lugs like those on my Cheyenne. Got them off eBay.
The slots on mine are similar, but I've got 7" up front & 8" out back. Tons of companies made slot mags, so ID is sometimes difficult. Look for markings on the inside, but don't be surprised if you don't find anything.

The guy I got them from said they are cragars but I think any mag wheel was a cragar to him

That was the only markings on my fronts, and I can't recall if the rears had anything or not. They're not a "matching set".

Re: Need help with Vintage slots

u.s. mags, ansen, american racing, e/t/ and several other companies made them. I'd recommend looking on-line for images of the various slots. With the slightly squared off outer portion of the slots they are not the very early "kidney bean" type. I think they may be american racing equipment or et. Lugs will be the type refrenced, square shouldered with thick plate washer.

Re: Need help with Vintage slots

Had a set of ET wheels many years ago that looked like those but the ET's had an elongated washer that went under the lug nut so they would fit different lug patterns.

If you lightly bead blast or wire wheel the inside you may find some markings. Just don't get carried away or you may obliterate them....

Re: Need help with Vintage slots

Type in shank lug nut and your thread size on eBay and there will be a bunch. Most will show the dimensions of the lug nut and washer. They look like a pretty common shank lug to me

Re: Need help with Vintage slots

Search Lug Nut King on Ebay. They go to swap meets and I've bought from them on Ebay and they are on Amazon. Google them and you'll have choices where to buy.

I have also bought them at Pep Boys but that's been a little while.
