I'm thinking all evidence points to my truck being ORANGE from factory....

Hugger Orange, not 516 ''Omaha-'', Tangier-'', ''Sunbolt-'' Orange, which is a little more yellow.
Wonder why they didn't finish painting the hump?

The stock cardboard/jute insulation pads cover that orange section and they didn't pull them out the last time it was painted .

You're right. Light Red. It predated Hugger Orange by 2 years. Looks the same on the internet, though.
