Looking for a Warn Winch Combo Kit

Hi Everyone, I am new to the site. I have a tough question for everyone. I am looking for a Warn winch combo kit #18430. It is the brush guard that you can mount a winch to bolts to your stock bumper. It is for my 1985 GMC Sierra 3500. I have looked everywhere for it and even called Warn and they told me that it is not available now. If anyone can give me a lead to where I can buy a new one or a good used one, please let me know. Thanks

I suggest building the mount. Look at 4wd sites and you'll find several plans tailored to your truck.

All I got right now. I'm assuming the 4 brackets on the backside of the bumper are part of the brush guard hardware kit. They're beefy.

One of my best friends is the north American sales manager for Warn and I had him check with no success and he actually talked with some 25 year employees to no avail. Warn was sold to Dover elevator and now to LKQ
so corporate America has no interest in the older stuff.

Re: Looking for a Warn Winch Combo Kit

I didn't read it but depending on warn winch included and what model? I'd put it at about $750

I just paid $400 for a part that when its for sale goes for $200-250. I just couldn't get one so I bit the bullet.

Used 8274's (see photo above) I've seen are up to $1200. New they are $2-3k. Warn brush guards for new trucks are around $1000 if you add up all the hardware. Rule of thumb I use for pricing things is 1/2 of new if it's really nice and 1/4 if it's worn out. The desirability of a legendary 8274 Warn winch and the elusiveness of the 'Fall Guy's type brush guard seems to blow my pricing algorithm out of the water. I'm kind of looking for some examples of this brush guard changing hands.

Re: Looking for a Warn Winch Combo Kit

Seems like a great deal. Although shipping is going to be expensive.

I'm surprised to see there are any square bodies in Kirkland.
