Since this thread is up again, here’s my latest Janesville truck, build June of ‘72. I’m still puzzled as to why Janesville was the only plant to “incorrectly” place the deluxe emblem.

I sure wish mine had come the bigger mirrors and tilt. I've managed to score a original tilt which will be installed in the near future.

After talking to tech support at Air Lift I have found out that the kit I need is 60811. Per the measurements I gave them. Ride height of truck inside spring and inside diameter of springs.

Thanks Joe for posting and getting this thread back on track.
Guess we will never know the reason. Suspect its just a caryover from 69-70's optional engine emblem location. But why they moved the engine emblem correctly yet not the Custom is curious.
