1965 chevy truck one piece @a time

1965 chevy step side aka farm. truck it was a farm truck from late 1964 untill
1988 thats was the last time it had tags on the truck i got the truck in 2005ive changed it over to 5x5 from 6 lug using a 1970 spindles rotors ect and the rear end .. i thought it was a 71 bought new cross drilled rotor for 71-72and the outer bearing are to small had to get bearing for a 70 model so there will be more pics coming if i can find the ones with the vise mounted to the bed with the home made hay rack ..
it hade a 230 inline 6 .but we went with a 350. with turbo 350..

got the brakes and rotors on found out the wheels wount fit with out spacers..
the wheel rubbed the top of the caliper..
Now it looks like new rims the last couple of pics is after i got it home man the shop was small then

more pics of the rando stuff done tothe truck body striped to bare metal
and dents pulled the inside the cab striped bear ready for primer and paint
will have to restrip the fair wall one more time the touch up failed .

the old truck was rough in places and floores and corners pretty good had one little spot on the lip where the rubber seats and meets the door one hole .but that was easy fix with a wire welder .

heres some more of the in side last pic ii was under the struck when i felt something on my arm i moved it out side it was covered with very small spiders over its body i didn't need it on me or in my shop or in my truck !!!!!!!!

worked on the inside of the cab .. little welding little putty and a little por 15
just don't get it on you an let it dry it will take a couple of days to come off

time to start on redoing the fire wall.have to get the por 15 over spray off the firewall. so i can get it ready for paint so i can
put the mastercylinder on for the brakes... and get the fenderwelles on .
or something close :

I would have got a lot more done today with my saturday off. But i went to the Good-Guys Fall nationals @ texas motor speedway nascar race a little over a month from now . but heres just a few pics of the sandblasting parts from today im still getting the sand out of my teeth .. i had the dust mask and hood on still ate a litte sand . Will hope to put the pices in primer ... the last pics of the radiator need a skim coat of metal filler or maybe just a good poxi primmer to fill the rough area from the lite pitting fro the battertray .. luck the fender well wasnt eatin up with batter acid

grill sport and radiator suport the grill suport as now paint indwe the red
the clear was lifting and so ill just strip it bare like the rest og the stuff ive done on the trurk
