235 Lifters....

I have a 54 235 in my 47 3600.....today, I was cleaning up my lifters, and the top of one came off. I have never had this happen before! The others are good - this is the only one with a problem. Do I need a new one -or - set? like I said, they all look fine except for this (this one included...).

Well....the only problem with it is that the top piece came apart from the tube. I guess I need to find a good one or two....Anyone have an extra laying around?

Yeah, they are "solid"....actually, they are hollow, and the top part is a separate piece that is pressed into/onto the tube.
I have a hard time posting photos to this board - without posting it online first. Hate to do that with every photo....

Re: 235 Lifters....

To attach a pic click on the "post reply" button just below the last thread posting. Then a box comes up where you can add text. Below that is a section with a button for "manage attachments". Click that and a box comes up with "choose file". Click one of those and choose the file you want to attach. Then hit upload and when it's done its thing it should show up in the posting once you hit submit post like you would normally.
Give it a try and see if that works.
