WTB. Bench seat z springs
At the point to redo my seat in the '69 GMC. I'm needing the z spring for both sides. Plus the driver side outermost spring is broke as well. I've contacted Cars inc.,LMC, Classic parts,Year One. And a couple others with no luck. Any members have these springs they'll ship me or point me to where I can buy them? Thanks

Most used springs you find will have 40+ years of service on them and are likely on their way to breakage soon. You would hate to get a new cover installed and soon after have a broken spring poke thru. You can google seat springs or seat spring rods and find upholstery suppliers that sell new raw "bend yourself" springs. Just measure the size of the spring you need and purchase that size or slightly larger, and form into the desired shape for installation. Think they come in 36" lengths.
