Well Got the results from the Dyno.from the 505. Mild cam ,1" 4 whole spacer , 750 carb. Only 580 Lbs trq @3900 and 480 HP @ 4900. The oil which has zinc in it, 30w was given to me by the neighbor, he has had it for 40 years in his basement in garage. I went down to get it, he has a few cases of it. Here are a few photos My son is next to the motor. He wants to be the first to tromp on it.............

No Much work Done on truck , Been out of town working, and Family issues out of state.and a Flood last week. Mocked up bed, and Installed Motor mounts.Have to get Tranny mount made upand all plumbing done before winter gets here.

MOre pics...........and of the flooding, Some woman walking in the street. My sons walking in the flooded street taking pics. My house in the cul de sac, Had water 3 feet up my drive way, no water in Basement, and a guy driving his pickup through the intersection.

Maybe you should build a boat.

What kind and size tubing did you use on your chassis? Did you bend the center stiffeners and cross? If so, what kind of bender do you use. If not, did you buy the member from someone?

No Boat,An Ark maybe. I used 1 1/2 tube Mild steel. I bent the tubes on My JD Squared tube bender.

I see in those first pictures you posted of the other truck they are running the leaf spring in the back? Is this truck driven, does it ride and handle well with the leaf? I have heard otherwise from the guys selling the crossmember kits, and that is why they put coil overs in the rear.
